Futura’s follow-up Air Force 1 series is sure to be a hit. Dedicated to the New York Yankees, who recently became a Nike-sponsored team, the pack from which we’ve seen three shoes, is sure to be a hit. In the above video, the legendary graffiti artist teases us about an upcoming event or release set for 4.4.10 (April 4th).
In the video, Futura can be seen applying his famed paint splatter design and handwriting to both sticks (”bats” used for street stickball) and rubber balls. Odds are, 21 Mercer will be hosting a stickball event that day, but stay tuned for more information regarding the event and the collaboration collection.
